BHSI Programs

BHSI offers trainings which enhance the knowledge and skills of the direct care workforce. The following trainings have been developed and are currently being offered:

• BHSI eCampus - for the Department of Health and Human Services-Office of Child & Family Services-Children's Behavioral Health Services (DHHS-OCFS-CBHS) Behavioral Health Professional Online Option.
• Behavioral Health Professional for the Department of Health and Human Services – Office of Child and Family Services – Children’s Behavioral Health Services.
• School-Based Behavioral Health Professional training for the Department of Education.
• Leadership Development for the Department of Corrections – Adult Community Corrections.
• Direct Support Professional offers individual agencies the option to work directly with BHSI for the administration of the DHHS-ADS recognized DSP training.
• Research - BHSI, in full collaboration with the University of Maine at Augusta and at the request of the Department of Health & Human Services-Office of Child & Family Services-Children's Behavioral Health Services (DHHS-OCFS-CBHS), has embarked on a comprehensive research project.
• Residential Facility Administrator for the Department of Health and Human Services- Division of Licensing and Regulatory Services.
• Personal Support Specialist for the Department of Health and Human Services- Division of Licensing and Regulatory Services.
