Direct Support Professional (DSP)

Thank you for the many requests that we have received from the DSP Community and/or Agency Providers. These requests:

  • Regarding assistance in locating the status of successful completion of the DSP course or APL Test-Out Certifications;
  • Regarding obtaining a copy of a DSP Certificate; and/or
  • Regarding where you can obtain DSP Certification Training.

Please Note: We are unable to process these requests as BHSI no longer has a DSP contract with DHHS-ADS.  The messages and/or requests that we received were being forwarded to the Department [whom is handling all DSP functions at this time]. All of our records were transferred to them upon completion of our contract.

We do apologize that any attempt at obtaining the requested information from us was unsuccessful; but, we feel that you should be contacting the Department directly to expedite the turnaround time in a response to any requests.
