Who Should Attend?

This is a one-day training session which is MANDATORY for ALL currently Certified Behavioral Health Professional (BHP) Trainers who wish to continue to teach the BHP curriculum.

Course Description

This Update Session will:

1. Review revised BHP Policies & Procedures [Manual & Forms] 

2. Review curriculum changes to Student Manual

3. Review revised Exams & Evaluations

4. Provide an Introduction & Overview of the instruction for the Online Provisional BHP (Module 01) and the future Online BHP 50-Hour Course

Please note that a light continental breakfast will be provided; but, you are responsible for your own lunch.

PLEASE NOTE: Due to recent budgetary and staffing constraints, BHSI will be offering an online webinar instead of the in-person Trainer Update sessions that we had originally scheduled for ORONO & HOULTON. These webinars will occur on February 28th and March 1st. Those of you already registered to attend in those two locations will have the choice of which webinar you would like to attend from your chosen location.

Please notify Faith Hauger, Program Coordinator of which webinar session you would like to participate in. We will forward you the log-in information and more details about the process as we get closer to the dates.

Applications  MUST be Received 2 Weeks PRIOR to Training Choice for Review and Processing 

You will be asked to submit the following information on your application form:

• Your Name; and
• Your Agency Name, Agency Address, Agency Phone/Fax; and
• Your Home Address, Phone/Fax/Cell #’s, and Email Address

Please be sure to notify us [at the time of registration] of any Learning Accommodations you will require for the training program, so that we may plan accordingly.

Reminder: Please bring your favorite training activity to the session in which you are registered. BHSI will collect them and compile a list that will be posted in the secure documents portal section of our website as a resource for other trainers.
